Their reasoning is, because when the recession comes in the next year or two, we all are going to want to have the ability to access cash. 

I’m more concerned with being able to have access to a portion of the funds to be able to pay off any mortgage that was taken out on the home that I can pay off post sell.

Even then there are restrictions on being able to evict the remaining tenants.

The number may vary as more time goes on.We work in the A/C industry so we have access to most contractors that can do most of the plumbing / drywall / AC for a very low cost to us.

There are some restrictions to having 2 VA loans (and you cannot have over 2 VA loans) but it's a great method.If you are in Texas then we have something here that no other state has - the Texas Veteran Land Board.

Not just because I wanted to wholesale, but also because of all the restrictions on marketing and the general lack of support from brokers for a real estate investors.

ADA may also require access changes for the commercial space. 

I don't know how restrictive your agreement is with your broker.
