But not every property is a good investment in any market.The unemployment numbers are real, but the data is useless. 40mm are unemployed today, but 4 Starbucks around me reopened in the last week alone, as Ohio begins relaxing Stay at home orders. 

We get some holiday traffic but for the most part November through Mid March is quiet.  

Take some time to breathe and relax.

You do the work upfront, and then you pretty much relax and watch the leads come in.. day in day out..Food for thought..

It was approaching the holidays when it was 100% finished.I decided to wait until January to put it on the market so it wouldn't go stale during the holidays and ending up selling in February.As I mentioned, I should have kept it. 

How do you all feel about cold calling on holidays?

I was in a similar situation this winter with my bathroom reno, I just ended up doing it myself because no one wanted to get paid around the holidays. 

Moral of the story.... is that deals don't wait on us, they don't work on our schedule or around holidays, or no nights or weekends.

I let myself get comfortable and used to this idea that even though i wasnt contributing, just sitting back relaxed on the sidelines, overworking my employees, diminishing my hunger for success, lackadaisically directing the traffic, i thought somehow magically i would still come out on top.

They got used to the cash flow bump on holidays.
