I have personally found that Real-Estate backed Private Notes / Loans are the most secure way to invest your funds for any duration you so choose, at an interest rate WAY better than the banks, or bonds, with monthly "dividends" and still secured by an actual physical asset!

I chose a terrible time to get into real estate, and worse I have failed to prepare properly.

I am chronically ill, and spent several years out of work before it was properly diagnosed.

Just be sure if you invest here that you are set up properly for an entity and US bank account as an international.I can't really tell you how to look for cash flow and vacancies in India... you'd have to ask around people there to see if there are any places.

With that being said I am in search of an accountant for tips on how to properly utilize my business for tax purposes.

There is a way that since you took $50k to pay down the principle that you can have them “adjust” the loan (I forget the proper terminology they use), but it’s not guaranteed.

There are even some investors that reflip these homes with a conversion back to a garage.Don't get me wrong, if the strategy is employed properly, and you get real usable square footage out of it, then you can truly add some value to the property.

But for those who want to BRRRR, flip or join in syndication for that defined duration, this would be a great way to do it.As with all investments, you must tread carefully. 

The people who are not over leveraged and have put the proper amount of money aside should weather this storm all right.
