Lowest bid is NEVER the best idea....

Any idea will be appreciated in advance.

Just seeking advice on the best way to approach such an idea.

In that I would not own the home in my name (the trust would) under those assumptions.Is this even a reasonable strategy to jump start a real estate investment portfolio, any alternative ideas are welcome.I hope I have stated this with enough clarity, Please let me know if additional information is required to answer the question. 

I am ready to start investing and make a move but I feel like I'm all over the place with ideas and I'm having a hard time coming down to one goal/strategy.

(Eleven of the top 20 largest wildfires in Colorado occurred just in the last five years, and four of the top five occurred in just the last three years, according to the Division of Fire Prevention.The idea that your mountain home burning down is inevitable is not correct, but neither is the idea that there's zero risk. 

While some sellers may not be agreeable to this idea, you might find that many are quite open to it.

I think this is a great idea!!
