And after you would lower the rent , whats stopping the same people moving back in ?

80 - 100K CAD .... so about 50 - 70K USD (maybe cheaper as these sorts of things are more expensive in Canada.That has a hydraulic lift and included the construction of the shaftway.Of course ... you can spend much more[Note:  I originally included a rang of 60 - 80K CAD (25 - 50K USD), but going back to the quotes we had last year to bolt a 4-stop onto an existing 4-story apartment building, the range is more like 80 - 110K CAD]   The 60-80K was for a 3-stop solution at another location.]

Didnt cost me a dime, just time pushing my refinance back. 

Or rent it at TODAYS market rate not what it was 18 months ago and then raise rents as things tighten back up.

Hey Everyone,I bought my first 3 Family Home (Multi Family) back in December of 2021 in RI.

new to this site, hoping to simplify whether I should sell a lot purchased when sold a SF rental back in 2006. the gross sales price of the house was 165K, but the net was closer to 151K. 

I got my license back in 1993, so requirements may have changed since then. 

I currently work as a Relationship Manager in Canada but I've been considering moving back and establishing the real estate investment portfolio that I've always dreamed of. 

And any "legacy" syndicator with a track record dating back to 2011 or sooner, is only just now seeing their first real headwind.
