I had my attorney file a motion asking the court to dissolve the liens but according to the court magistrate, the motion was denied (which is strange) on grounds that the court is without authority to grant the relief requested in a small claims matter.

They could be new arrivals in the USA; they could be paying cash for everything; witness protection program too :)Of course, they could have had a bad run, then were denied credit for many years and then no longer pursued getting credit for a while, so all the bad stuff dropped off with not much else to come into the picture.

For more info on this take a look at the "Stop Tax Haven Abuse Act" which has been introduced in the US Congress but not passed.US citizens should be very careful when using offshore companies for investment, especially with their own money.
