My question is, should my goal be to put that 26K towards the house that I am living in and have it paid off OR should I use that money to obtain another deal or two in that 22 months time OR do a combination of the two?

hi from austin tx. so been hanging around here trying to figure out how i wanted to get started. well figured it out. i am selling my house, cashing it out, because i do not want to use it as a rental. bought another house that i will hack then turn it into a rental in a cpl years but in the mean time i am looking at additional properties in areas outside of austin even out of state.my goal is 10 properties before i retire, from my current job, in 6 years. i am looking especially in rural areas.

I'm hoping for your feedback with the intention of discovering and validating some of your common pain points (if any at all) in dealing with current technologies.

Right now my goal is to purchase one property per year, and would prefer to begin my search in Georgia.Any tips about good markets/neighborhoods to look into are most appreciated.
