I don't think you'll be able to use the proceeds from a 1031 exchange to co-invest with other investors into your syndicated deal. 

If another series is a parcel of land in NC it is insured as such, if others a construction and management co, etc.....The policy will specify exclusions and rates for the type of business being conducted for each entity.

One of my colleagues is in a bind and needs to speak with a landlord/tenant attorney (or one versed in eviction procedures, regs, etc.) in Colorado ASAP.
