After reading Rich Dad Poor Dad (I know - the cliche starting point for all of us), reading a few more books, listening through the first 70 Bigger Pockets podcasts all in the last 4 months I put an offer in and bought my first investment.

They're looking for a turnkey primary residence, 3/2 (or bigger) under $370K. 

Bigger Pockets is a great place to network, learn about the real estate investing business, and get deals done correctly.

My clientele is growing and only getting bigger.

My bigger concern is that he is asking for the rent/deposit before providing an official move in date. 

Listening to so many Bigger Pockets podcasts made me jump on this as a potential rental investment opportunity.   

We have NEVER purchased a home in our life, but because of the awesome advice and encouragement we find on the Bigger Pockets Podcast, we are excited to say that we are very focus on putting together the funding to purchase a duplex that needs a little TLC in the Metroplex.

And he’s a third party contractor working for a bigger company.
