I have downloaded all of the other forms mentioned in the book Managing Rental Properties but can't locate the flow chart poster for the tenant screening process.

I just picked up the book on investing in real estate with no (and low) money down.

Title insurance protects the lenders in case issues with ownership arise after the sale.Underwriting fee: This is for processing the cost of verifying the borrower’s credit history, income, and other financial information.Discount points: Many investors pay more money upfront to buy discount points and reduce the mortgage interest rate.

Recently my dad  has expressed the idea  of purchasing a home in DFW where he is currently renting.

There are a few items I have no idea about, I'm hoping someone here has some experience in the field and can provide a ball park means of estimate 3 costs:1.
