You show your newly renovated suite to someone, and in the portfolio you show the documents with the permits you have had approved, a prospective tenant will feel better knowing the work was done correctly and to code, and that you're not trying to get things done cheap or cut corners which may risk their health or safety.Yes it may be a bit more time consuming to pull permits.

With multifamily, more doors just means more of my time consumed renting to new people. 10X doors is 10X vacancy.Multifamily also usually has added costs for utilities like water, garbage and yard care.

If they don't make it easy it can be extremely frustrating and time consuming....You don't have to take all classes on campus, bonus points if you find schools that offer night/online classes.

In the same scenario people would cut back on consumer spending thus requiring many stocks to either pull back on dividends until the market improves or dip into their reserves to keep investors happy.Just my two cents
