I was wondering if anyone knew of a good Real Estate accountant in New York City, Long Island, Westchester or anywhere within an hour of Manhattan.

I'm looking into investing and helping others invest as an agent (once I get my license - I live in long island) in multi and single family homes in upstate ny (syracuse, rochester, buffalo, etc.), and was looking for any advice in these markets based on prior experience. 

@Shiloh LundahlIn 2019 I needed a house for 2 months on Long Island, NY for myself, my daughter and son in law, and my 2 grandchildren.I rented, through VRBO a house in Bellport, NY, within easy walking distance of town and the beach.

I do have access to them from a STR property manager I know on island.

Taking that into account are there any neighborhoods which may be more developed, easier to commute from (Long Island City, Astoria, East Harlem, specific areas in Brooklyn, etc) that we should be looking at?

Most conventional lenders will not lend on a property that is uninhabitable 2.

When they inevitably transfer off the island, they’re not able to cover all of the landlording expenses either.
