There are certainly a few members who could better contribute to the community by focusing on quality over quantity.However, several people in the thread have mentioned things like the search bar, or how they will help people that first help themselves.

@Jarrod Murrell BiggerPockets has recommended screening companies right on their site that I would recommend checking out and doing your research to see what company would best fit your screening needs.You can find the landlord resources tab by hovering over the tools bar and then clicking landlord resources under services.As you move forward with your independence as a landlord I would suggest setting strict screening criteria for what you're looking for in a potential tenant.

What I usually do is only display the really heavy stuff - murder, armed robbery, etc - to get a better idea of how rough a neighborhood is.Some stuff from another post I wrote, about actually visiting the neighborhood:Do other houses have bars on the windows or "cages" over the outside A/C units?

I would imagine that if there was some provision in the lease barring the tenant from any short term rentals it could be enforceable as breach of contract (search the 15 just causes for eviction in SF).
