I'd like to give them a more thorough look, but a customer testimonial is always helpful!

They aren’t the cheapest, but they are amazingly thorough.

Instead of being rude and standoff-ish with him, you should have reassured him that you will do a thorough screening process to be sure that only the best possible tenants will be renting your house.

However, because I have some experience in the area already she said submit an application and they will go through it thoroughly!

I certainly would not invest with anyone without a thorough vetting. 

They'll want to make sure you know what your doing though, so be sure to be able to explain thoroughly how your company operates and how their money won't be at risk.

As far as a title search, they are very thorough.

@Joe SplitrockI have read thoroughly your detailed explanation, and while you indeed raised few valid points, I think that you have missed 2 major points which turn this BFF strategy into a powerful one.The first is that in this strategy you usually seller finance the property to the borrower in ~20-25%% higher price than what you might sell it in ordinary way.
