The world is speeding up and change is happening at a faster rate.also People mature and then understand simple math concepts.. let me pay rent and I get no value other than a roof over my head .. or let me pay mortgage which is the same payment or even less in many areas.. and at least if I stick it out till the house is paid for I have some savings..
