Not just paint and carpet but the big ticket item that might cause you to write a big check such as: roof, AC or furnace, sewer line replacement, trees that will need to be removed, foundation issues (cracks/leaking), exterior paint vs. siding, etc.

Being that the inspection will be on a house that will be rehabbed they look mostly at high ticket items (roof, foundation, furnace, etc.) and don't spend so much time on the little stuff.
