This can be very attractive as it's so much easier. When a trusted person in the public eye takes your money and "invests" it, you are counting on their reputation and belief that, because they are an educator, your money is safe.

@Pyrrha Rivers Yes, the main things in Credit Scoring is-Length of Credit History of Accounts-Have 3 Major Credit Cards Reporting with No Late Payments --Revolving Balances below 30% of Limits-1 Installment Account-No Collections, Judgements, Public Records(Bankruptcy/Foreclosure) or Late PaymentsThese are very good guidelines...And if you want to get a boost of your scores and have a Family member that has a Seasoned Credit Card(Opened CC Account for over 3 years) that will report Authorized Users- they can add you as an Authorized User and you can have that credit history on that card added to your report...Hope that helps!

Brian, there are renditions of CFBP rulings, articles written and interpretations all over the internet. The only information investors should be studying would be the Act itself and those past a current rulings along with publications, nothing else. Those who have never had formal legal training will find much of the official information to be a difficult read due to many of the references given as they will need to look up those references and be able to interpret the applicability of related rulings and law.

my life is really all the motivation I need :) remembering that I can continue my work from a street cafe', a public park, an airport terminal or my living room, that my wife is my business partner, that we can both take any time we wan to have a date, some time off, a three week holiday etc - and that the strictest schedule in our lives is our son's school hours - plus the fact that we're both (almost) always there before he goes and when he comes back - that's what keeps me going at all times (as well as the more professional aspects of taking pride in my work, receiving praise and recognition from my peers, being able to help others achieve their dreams, the thrill of the challenges and overcoming them, etc etc)

Also from the different and vast majority of explanations regarding brokers, it looks like most of my work will be coming from the general public that are holding notes found from courthouse research, not professionals.
