Currently we have two properties (one rented, one we are fixing and living in) and we are interested in starting the process to franchise a quick service restaurant.

My other concern is that I don’t like tying up my money until almost age 60 & given the governments finances & what’s happening & about to happen to social security I don’t trust the Fed’s to even keep the Roth IRA benefits in tact to even the early adopters & others after it was promised too.

Pete area and the occupancy numbers seem promising here and I'd like to find a way to get into this business model.My first question is, are there actually a lot of investors out there going the rental route or do you prefer to just buy the property?

All they usually care about is dealing with the hassle as quickly as possible to minimize their involvement.

You'd much rather prefer to invest somewhere nearby... somewhere you could always drive to the property quickly if something went wrong.Does that all sounds about right?
