We just use the assessor office for tax records.

I worked in Real Estate/Property Management (was the office manager/accounting supervisor for one of the largest companies in our area) for 8 years, had a license but decided to let it go because I left the business.

Its one big company in all 50 States, not separate market place offices or franchises.

It was getting late so I called the local tax office before they closed to ask them if they knew anything and they said a business bought the 2016 taxes on the property, and they said most likely it was in Nov 17 when it was sold for 2000 and we have 18 months to redeem them.

I’m currently living in a duplex I own, but am looking to buy a single home using the 203k loan and was wondering if anyone knows any professionals I can use for this to happen; experienced real estate agents with 203k loans, loan officers, contractors?

@Victoria N HoffmanIf it's trade specific, I go to the local plumbing supply / electrical supply etc...

And if your loan officer can show that the deal is solid, I don’t see why the seller wouldn’t agree. 

If your realtor is not helping you out, put a call into the escrow officer.
