I've actually rented a couple condo Airbnbs out on the FL west coast (Sanibel / Naples area) and find you can usually get a better deal than at a hotel on the beach. 

He is confident that I should get at least 4-7k on the first deal within the next couple of months after that the equity will go down but the returns will go up.
