Don’t get me wrong, I realize there’s a class of folks out there with too much money to burn, but if anyone reading this is sitting on a spare $1m they’re throwing into 3 month/year New England ski house because they don’t know what else to do with their money let me know.

My personal soapbox statement - Airbnb is an abusive spouse that slowly people are waking up to realize they are in a controling abusive relationship and they start to develop an escape plan (more platforms/direct website) so they are no longer relying on Airbnb.

If you want to hire a PM then by all means, hire a PM, but having some humility and realizing that you are in a position of power over this tenant does NOT mean you need to hire a PM immediately.

However, I realize I need to focus on cultivating more investor relationships that would support such opportunities, as the ones I currently work with prefer to operate independently.If you don’t mind sharing, how did you go about building your partnerships and establishing those key relationships?

If they did they’d realize that someone with no capital, no experience and no relevant education can’t possible compete in a field populated by people with 20 years experience spending $10k monthly on lead generation.   

Also on taxes, if you sell your equity now does that mean you are realizing some of the gain now, or is it really just a debt product by another name?

I do realize that I did not dig deep before hiring the PMC from the beginning.

Yeah, the more I look into HH the more I realize my cash flow for HH1 will only be a few hundred dollars or just breaking even.
