It's also going to take us as a society to quit buying so quickly and to think through what's truly best for our families long term.

I don't believe this segment was a balanced presentation of the situation.But here's my REAL question: When did we as a nation deputize landlords to be the last line of defense for addressing all the ills of poverty in our society?

For me, the main thing to understand is that we live in a democratic republic, where differing opinions of what is “right” or “fair” to either the individual or society as a whole are topics of constant debate....and always will be.

The only advice I’d have is to engage the historic society and building department early and often.

As a society most of us are somewhere in the middle 

Depending on were you are in society will dictate how you feel it. 

But you have a business to run, your contributions to society should be completely separate.

There is a different forum for people who want to talk about the inequalities in our society.
