And if I feel that the client will be subject to too much rework, just for the reason that they don't like the color or what not, that's a waste of my time also, i have schedules to keep, and every delay is a domino effect to the next.

One idea I used before is to use the google adword site to inform you of the highest clicked key words around your topic and rework those words into an ongoing blog or forum and you should get similar 'free' results.
