Being able to get an Architectctural licencse in other states through reciprocity is a big deal. 

It's unforgettable.Maybe I can get a reciprocal license for Nunavut.

I mean, she's had my bank account information that she used to pay rent, so this is just the reciprocal of that, eh?

I'm not saying you should never offer a mentor something in return, but I have found that many people are generous with their time because they know that it will generally be reciprocated and often in quantities more than expected.Again, these relationships are built organically over time.  

It's much better than a reciprocating saw where access is restricted.

If you aren't comfortable with putting numbers together, offer to work for an investor that you can reciprocate value for.

Also to receive the stated buyer commission on a listed deal(without having to get a commission agreement from the listing broker) you have to have an affiliation with that local MLS board.....but most have a reciprocal agreement with almost all others in the state.
