Is there anyone that has gone through NACA and got a multi-unit and was able to successfully refinance out of the loan after a year, or is it more realistic to plan to have to stay in the home for 3 to likely 5 years?

You can definitely do higher end flips in Detroit but I wouldn't recommend starting there.Buying something for $50k-$60k (off-market), putting $20k-$30k into it and then selling for $100k-$110k is a more realistic expectation.

If my plan were to continue with OOS properties, I'm sure I'd keep searching here or just go through OCF...but I made the decision to stick with my local area and a few overseas locations.It's also important to be realistic about what kind of return you will be getting with a TK investment....Anything in double-digits is unrealistic for any TK, IMO. 4-6% return is more realistic
