- there was never any hostile situation, it was allowed by then-seller- if it had NOT been allowed / permitted, and the defect was allowed to fester basically uncontested, then the neighbor could make an argument (again-- michigan statute here) after 15 years for "prescriptive easement"- since it WAS allowed, then the then-seller's rights (now that's me as of last week) can REVOKE those privileges.

Even if they are in Grand Rapids on assignment for a couple years whether its a physician at the hospital or an executive from Amway, Meijer, Steelcase or other company based here, they feel comfortable purchasing knowing the likelihood they can sell in a year or two and be in a good position.

I understand it mostly but I need my wife to more and I can’t get her on board, I’m trying to convince my wife it’d be worth her time. we’re a two physician house but she’s not practicing because we have 5 kids under 4 plus she has to do residency.
