Since no lender is willing to do the loan because of the ongoing lawsuit i did not want to buy the condo.

As long as that trend keeps on going the housing market will remain strong.As a newer investor don't expect deals to come easy in this market.

Second there are ongoing expenses, fees and dues that will quickly eat up the profit from a hand full of deals.

@Dakoda SpencerZillow shows tax information but you will also want to verify it on the town website because there may also be an additional town or school tax.I would probably pay cash for the property if rent is going to be so low because you will need some money to cover ongoing expenses.
