All I have is a money market account and though I set up my schwab accounts and vanguard before we moved I never invested a single note into any yet because of my lacking knowledge.

I have lived in Wisconsin and upstate New York in the past and have a decent amount of knowledge of those areas — but obviously need help.

However, it seems extremely high risk as, to my knowledge, it is unsecured and only backed by a 'promise' to repay not any hard assets or relevant collateral.    

The high prices of that market are outside my reach, at least with the knowledge I have now.

They usually leave the D to F areas for the out of town investors thinking they are buying the cherries but are getting scraps from lack of local market knowledge.  

But I look forward to the community, look forward to learning, and growing and making money , so pour on the knowledge folks , I'm all ears !!
