We're both on disability for good reasons, and when I lost my last two jobs due to disabilities, we used up what little savings we had to hold onto our own house while waiting for my checks to come in.Okay, enough rambling. 

It did prompt the new HUD rules.I anticipate the HUD rules being expanded to credit scoring, which can be impacted by statistically abnormal arrest rates in certain populations (affecting  job stability and credit management) and by mental illness or other disabilities that affect such life skills as timely bill payment.

This gentleman is also a disabled veteran who relies on VA benefits and is very concerned about future rent increases due to his fixed monthly income.

Martial arts are great for the young and fit, but what about the old, injured, weak, disabled, etc?

How much does your FIL know about fair housing laws, lead based paint disclosures, sex offender notification, the Americans with Disabilities Act, landlord - tenant law in the state of LA or other local ordinances?  

I just had a tenant send me a letter threatening to contact the DMV, SSI and other organizations and turn my child and I in for "working" because we are both on disability.

I had 3 primary cancers at the same time-so, I have no credit, no money, and because of the side affects of chemo I am disabled.
