When I played HS basketball, I had a good coach, but the shots I hit and the shots I missed were on me, not him.

I've played sports my entire life and for the most part was able to block it out, or at least press through it, when it came to that (for instance; up to bat in baseball or at the free throw line in basketball).

We pay for Basketball with two boys playing Highschool ball and travel teams in the summer.

Like mentioned above, there are plenty of safe alternatives that work for younger kids- putting green, cage basketball, soft ax throw etc 

As for hobbies, I really enjoy playing basketball, a good mixed-martial arts session, mountain biking, also road cycling(with said mountain bike lol) , and as of lately just enjoying a good ol’ hot beach day!

Put a basketball hoop above garage door and they are happy.Check Out ajoining yards in back,,,anyone have excess land they can split off???
