As mentioned in the article: The seminar instructors advise attendees that they can place a property in contract or an option to purchase, at which time the attendee can then market and re-sell the property for a profit.

A few things I look at; do they have a linkedin presence, have they done events before (if so how many), are there speakers and panels, do they have an event schedule of future meetups, is there a membership fee (this can be a good thing because it shows commitment on all members parts), is there a wide array of attendees, investors, operators, GPs, brokers, lenders, etc.

There’s typically a good mix of attendees - usually one or more attorneys, a number of agents, many experienced investors, landlords, flippers, rehabbers, contractors, lenders, etc.

Since the last rehab workshop was very successful, I am proposing to repeat the format of Sunday’s workshop to include more time for networking and interaction amongst attendees.

There are several in SE Mass:  South Shore REIAHouse Flipping School You find them on Meetup, here on BP, and on FBPeople attend groups depending on where they are located at 5PM that night, the mix of attendees who normally attend, and the topic for that evening. 

Attendees will be able to pick up their passes on Thursday evening as well at the Hyatt lobby.We're running from 8-10pm on Friday and 8-5pm on Saturday.All the info about the conference can be found on the conference site at:http://www.biggerpockets.com/conference

They have some good speakers and get a wide range of attendees who do a lot of interesting things.
