The harder it is to get too the more they will charge.Just like cutting down trees the price varies based on the difficulty and factors involved.If you have a bunch of pine trees you can get a pulp mill sometimes to come cut them down for free and haul away the logs.Trees to close to the driveways,too close to the building,utilities can cause all kinds of problems.You run into this with difficult terrain in land development as the price per acre goes up substantially versus pushing some dirt on relatively flat land.

Unless the property is a top end then I would not install more gizmos.I find this is true with appliances too the more electronics the more likely it will turn into a service call.
