The Midwest is the closest to the West Coast I would get.

One is looking for boutique hotels in along the coast of SOCAL, and working with a fund up to 50M, but the boutiques we have purchased this year so far are all within the 5-18M range. 

Then there is all the nanotech stuff going on down at SUNY, so I would imagine the neighborhoods around there might be in play like Colonie, guilderland or some of the western neighborhoods in Albany itself.

The meetings I've been going to are for the Central Coast REIA and there isn't any pitch there.  

Us West coast lenders that use Deed of Trust and Prom note and can foreclose on non owner occ in 6 to 7 months for 2 to 3k  .. much safer than what I see in mortgage states

I know a majority of his properties are closer to the coast and his reason for selling this property to me is very plausible.
