I want to expand my real estate holdings in the central florida area.I have experience in owning in island/coastal (tourist) areas and inland locations.I am a buy and hold investor and plan to add 10-20 single family homes or a small apartment building as deals present themselves.

On top of this, what makes this unit uninhabitable is that the walls are so thin I can hear every footstep and word-to-word conversation from my next and upstairs neighbor.

On top of that, the island of San Diego has exhausted most of the buildable land within 10 miles of the coast, in the last RE boom ( Carmel Valley, Otay, etc).

My previous dream home was an oceanfront investment property which I achieved on Hilton Head Island SC in 2001 and again in 2005.

So I would like to get some insight from any current Homevestor franchisee who operates specifically in NYC/Long Island to see if the Homevestor model still makes sense in our market and to get a better sense of what your experience has been like.

An overlooked (well, new to us) island is in northern FL, Amelia Island.
