Reminds me of the time I saw a house around the corner from one of my rentals with a huge (probably 3' x 15') sign/banner posted on the front of the house that said "For rent.

I want my personal property safe from a tenant's guest who sues because they slipped in the driveway that the tenant didn't shovel but feels it is my fault for not reminding them every time it snows that it is their duty.

And I will keep that reminder nearby everytime I make contact with a probate seller.

you also reminded me of a friend who helped his parents with a "mini" apartment complex they had. they had a main house in front with maybe 3 'apartments' behind the house. would this be a quadplex?

Reminds me of a burned home I had as collateral, a Dr's home with an indoor pool.

I don't remember bringing a specific inspector into the building we purchased except my Contractor and (you just reminded me to suggest this to you) a structural engineer.
