I originally used several paid and free management softwares, but they still have an old school mentality. 

We househacked a triplex in the Graduate Hospital area and have a duplex in South Philly.  

I am officially a top student in the School of Hard Knocks.

So my wife and i have always wanted to be in rental real estate so we decided to buy a house since a mortgage was cheaper than pay monthly rents. we decided to buy a property that we felt would make a great rental based on the location and numbers... so we bought in town of the school i grew up in..Weve owned the property 7 yrs this past Dec.

I just graduated college 1 year ago at the time, very little saved up.

Additionally, I am working toward a Masters in Business and will graduate in May of 2021.

I make the bulk of the money via Homeaway/Vrbo and very very little on Airbnb.Yes our lake house makes money well above just paying for itself.Our house is close to a University so we get extra rentals from home game weekends, graduation etc.

I graduated May 2018 with a degree in Civil engineering and I am currently working with a utilities consultant in the north shore of Massachusetts.

I know quite a few people who were able to get through college/grad school debt free with this type of arrangement.
