But without leverage, the returns can be really anemic -- our SF rental was inherited and has no debt, and we're netting somewhere between 1 and 2%.Once some dominoes fall and we can rearrange our balance sheet, we'll have more money to invest, but, for now, we're in two deals at $50,000 each.

You have to be able to either hook into the 3" line for the other toilet, or go direct to the main drain for the house, and have room to have 1/8" fall per foot of pipe along the way.

We do plan to follow the seasons with our travel so we'll most likely be in the Pacific Northwest or mountain states in the summer and likely in the desert states, California or Florida in the winter months and other states inbetween the spring and fall seasons.
