I’m not into big multi family markets myself but I do know this .. if your afraid to pull the trigger when the market is doing really good what makes you think you’ll have the nerve to do it when there’s blood in the streets and everyone is running scared . 

So investing in the stock market instead of real estate because you are afraid the market will turn bad does not make sense to me.
