can anyone recommend a good real estate lawyer in MN twin cities area ?

I cant be the first person to think of this...In my city there is an owner occupant property tax exemption on the first $50,000. 

So lets get to it.I purchased a small 625 sqft SFH house in Liberty City.

I am a newbie currently doing similar research and trying to narrow down on cities.

(my latest was a 5 bedroom,   $920 guaranteed rent, $500 clear cash flow on $60,000 investment) I'm just a retired architectural designer, but I found a unique WWll city with below market and inexpensive homes with huge demand from gov sub Urban dwellers!!!

You will find many cities restrict the number of unrelated persons living together.

One of the best ways to get good information is to call local General Contractors to ask for referrals or City Building Inspectors. 

We owned a 2 bed 1 bath that we purchased in 2006 and shortly after buying it we learned from the city records that the 200 SF bonus room was not a legal addition and the walls were basically poorly mortared cinder block on a concrete floor that was covered up with drywall to make it appear like a finished space.

, unfortunately that is not the case, I see many of you on this site looking for deals in big cities and other properties that just aren't going to preform as well when the next crash happens (Biiiiiig Speculation), but in all honesty if your not investing in areas where the majority of the population collects a paycheck every month for the next 4-6 years without fear of a stock price or layoffs then your request on the forums seems a little pointless.
