Very interesting - not surprising though with new tech companies moving here as well as an increase in density 

I think the entertainment business (LA) or tech business (SF) will see their ups and downs over time but you can't still take away the weather, the diversity, the scenery and the progressive nature of this state.

And for me, I have been able to find more HVAC techs willing to work on central systems, and have those parts more readily available than ductless. 

I work in tech and can appreciate the latest Ethernet wiring for gaming and file transfers.

I’m sure my cleaners have their pet peeves and the maintenance techs have theirs but that is like because it frequently means me having to get involved.

If it’s a tech savvy tenant at all try to just tell them about it and then maybe you won’t have to deal with neither a cable nor satellite company!

Aside from the tech talk, I also hold a real estate license out here and have assisted other out-of-state BP investors looking for properties here, specifically multifamily residences.

My work requires me to travel a lot (mostly to the coasts, I'm an investor mostly in tech startups).

Also look for firms with a high degree of tech integration and systems in place that produce results (lead generators, marketing, CRMs, transaction management tools, etc)-- that will go a long way to getting those first few deals underway and building momentum.
