I am wondering if I will be charged capital gains on this considered that my wife and have travelled overseas for the past seven months and have had no income.

@Jason Allen Never take money from your travelers and have everything go through Airbnb.

I’ve taken over my folks rentals, i manage one sister’s and my wife and I manage ours too.

I love traveling, researching, learning, and budgeting (I have a spreadsheet for everything...even my vacations).

Calvin, yeah, the house was left to my sister-in-law by her father (and left nothing to my wife but that's another forum discussion I think 😉).
