I'd recommend the bigger pockets podcast or the 12 houses to freedom podcast for getting more information on whether you want to jump into real estate.

I'm currently working as a quality technician for Riviana Food Labs, working overnight and I use my days to pursue financial freedom for my family (D4D, CC).I've spent this entire year stuck in fear and reading articles and books, trying to use education as a cloud to hide behind instead of hopping out into the actual REI world and applying what I've learned.

It was a market abnormality that seemed ripe for the taking, since Cleveland's economy was showing really strong signs of promise (particularly in healthcare), rising rents, and stability overall (the blue collar exodus that spanned a few decades finally seemed to have subsided). 

I am here to learn as much as possible in order to secure financial freedom for myself, my family, and generations to come!

I don't have anything expressly written in my lease against this and I worry if I ask him to remove one or both, it will be a violation of the tenant's freedom of speech.

Just wondering if anybody else has tried this much slower approach to gaining financial freedom.
