The change order resulted in an extra $1300, but supposedly that would have been the true cost based on the revised design -- they didn't charge us extra for having to ship two loads of material and pick one up.If we weren't looking to move things forward so quickly, we'd probably put up a bigger fight about the extra cost and the missed communication, but at this point, it's worth the cost to just keep things moving.

If I have an amazing case with law and facts and large damages, maybe a wrongful death or negligence etc, but no assets or method to actually realize an award, and the insurance is limited or will be another expensive fight, that case gets passed up on for a easier case to collect on.
