You need to know the life of the major components and their condition:Foundation - any repair needed will be a costly one.Plumbing - if cast iron, it rusts from the inside out so you never know when it's going.

I have my own team and most of the time I only call my realtor to submit an offer because I have my 3/2 and over 1000 sqft criteria defined and if the numbers are not where I want them maybe an inspection contingency.
