Ali your area and asset class type will be defined by how much cash you have to start.I don't know where your location is overseas but I know in some of those countries there is trouble here getting a loan.

The issue here is that the US government does not want money flowing from your deal back to a foreign country where it cannot be taxed.  

have them take you to court and provide a written contract.

We live in a beautiful country where something like this is legal! 

I think that for many of us, property represents a physical constraint that imposes on our freedom to move from city to city or country to country in many cases.On the other hand, the financials of home ownership are so clearly stacked in favor of owning vs renting, that Millennials want to own for THAT reason.  

A Quit-claim deed only transfers "whatever interest" the seller may have in the property; I could, technically, quit-claim the Fulton County Court house to you because the quit-claim deed does not imply that I have title, only that any interest I have or don't have, I'm transferring to you.
