I noticed the section that says:"Witnesseth that the grantor, in consideration of ONE AND MORE DOLLARS ($1.00+) paid by the grantee, hereby grants and releases unto the grantee, the heirs or successors and assigns of the grantee forever, ..."

I believe this is because they know they take forever on a short sale to get thru the process they want to assure the buyer is ready to move quick afterwards.Always copy of DL as wellOne thing I use personally if buying as an investment is an experience letter.

I'd be thinking the same thing as you.I honestly wonder what the right remedy is to get the American economy moving forward again.I hear Economists on TV saying that the consumer has to start spending for the economy to revive.That America is a consumer basd economy-which is all true,BUT, Isn't that what got us where we are today ?
