I question for how long as a 100' structure placed in the wrong area could destroy the view.I have often thought as a property owner in the city that I should get a say, but not if you do not live there (I have 7 units in the city of San Diego, but do not get to vote on city items).Short answer is the city is consistently going further left and is a lot more left than even 4 or 5 years ago.

If you consistently analyze properties, it will be much easier to recognize a good deal when it shows up.

This balances your desire to be respectful, but also gives you a shot at getting the property still, at the right price. 

@Jerryll NoordenI can say within this month I’ve done things consistently not as often as I want cuz I still had days I didn’t do anything but this month I gotten more done than I did in a yr !!

You need to snowball your income and portfolio rapidly and consistently to achieve this but it can be done and many have done it .

I realize there is something to be said for consistency in the calculation as you apply to different investment.  

Don’t expect a significant upward shot at prices anytime soon.

I see this response from @Jerryll Noorden a couple of times a day but I'm noticing it's the same 3 month old screen shot in every response.

Finding and KEEPING a quality contractor that's honest and consistent. 

I have older multi-family units that need consistent repairs / reserves for future repairs.
