When I mentioned I was looking for another lot to build a custom home in 3-5 years (rental in the interim) she did not seem too keen on the disruption this could cause young children (the same neighborhood and school no less).

We have money printing, remote working, the most children-less generation upon us, and the most precarious natural disaster period(not in quantity of events but in difference of events).
