Love the food for thought.

Food stamps, food from churches, and barely scraping by were all I ever knew.

We agents can't resist offers involving food - it's our Kryptonite (shh - that's a secret). 

He moves out and leaves items in the apartment ranging from a whole bed, to dishes, food in the fridge and pantry, posters on the wall and a nasty stove.

I may not be able to supply as well of real estate advice as some of the others, but speaking of food, also hit up Q39! 

From both a weather and life-style point of view (arts, music, theatre, food, outdoor activities...all better in Austin, IMHO).

You would want a food grade safe paint or epoxy and this is were it gets pricy.
