Your word and you name is all you have at the end of the day so please ensure you have enough equity in the deal to borrow the additional funds from someone.Lastly, analyze where you went wrong on your budget so you can make the necessary adjustments on the next deals.

Inspector states it appears from the outside that the dryer and/or bathrooms may vent into the attic space and not to outside; Vents for this are currently too few and the wrong type.

@Evan SwansonThe question is should you have a business entity for an owner-occupied property.Will you lose your homestead exemption if the property is moved to an entity.Will you be legally protected if something were to go wrong, most entities protect business assets but an owner-occupied property is also a personal asset.Speak with an attorney.

I don't think you can do AirBnbs there (rentals have to be a minimum of at least a week).I could easily be wrong about the location and I'm not trying to talk down to you...just trying to assist.Good Luck!
